Graham is a technical payroll professional with proven skills, knowledge and expertise in all software platforms utilised by NHS Payroll Services.

He is a certified ESR super user and Microsoft office specialist and has used this expertise and knowledge to re-engineer a range of processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all areas of payroll, pensions and expenses.

Graham has been recognised nationally for his technical ability and in particular for his recent solution to the reconciliation challenges introduced by the HMRC Teal Time Information (RTI) process. As a visionary, he delivers innovative solutions and stays at the forefront of technology to assist and meet client requirements. In addition to his technical role, he manages a team that supports the department including receipt and distribution of all correspondence, maintaining performance registers, and timely distribution of payslips.

Background

Graham has over 23 years NHS experience and joined NHS Payroll Services in 1989. He has recently undertaken ESR Business Intelligence (BI) training to assist clients in producing information and dashboard reports and has produced electronic departmental timesheets and a bespoke bank system containing costing information at shift level, which exports a file to be interfaced into ESR.
