Payroll team manager
As a motivational and supportive team manager, Michelle is responsible for daily staff management, scheduling and allocating work to a large team of payroll officers.
To guarantee accuracy and consistency, Michelle ensures all payroll officers and management follow the NHS ESR recommended best practice.
With detailed knowledge of all NHS terms and conditions of service, Michelle can support clients and colleagues with queries at all levels. Her vast experience in the introduction and maintenance of payroll controls for new clients ensures this is realised in an organised and structured plan.
Michelle has over 23 years NHS payroll experience and holds the CIPP certificate in team managements and a BTEC in national business and finance. She has also undertaken a number of formal ESR training accreditations including Workstructure and Discover functionalities. Michelle has been with the team since 1990 and has progressed from payroll officer up to deputy team manager.
